Sara Haas, RDN, LDN, is a food and nutrition expert with formal training in the culinary arts. She works as a freelance writer, recipe developer, media authority and consultant dietitian/chef. A former culinary and nutrition instructor, Haas has led numerous live cooking demonstrations at national and local conferences. She is a previous national Academy Spokesperson and is a contributor to the Academy’s Stone Soup blog. She is the author of the Fertility Foods Cookbook released October 2017.
She has created recipes for organizations and publications such as Shape Magazine, Eating Well Magazine, Kids Eat Right, and the Hass Avocado Board. She earned her undergraduate degree at Indiana University and received her culinary degree from the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago.
