Fiends of Oceanon Dunes is a California 501C3 non profit dedicated to keeping the Oceano Dunes SVRA (aka Pismo) open for all to enjoy. We are grass roots organization with no salaries paid. $95 out of every $100 donated goes to our legal fund to pay our lawyers. We currently have 16 lawsuites in play, and every dollar donated makes a difference in the fight.
Founded in 2001, Friends of Oceano Dunes (FoOD) was created by group of off-road enthusiasts who could no longer stand idly by and watch as groups like the California Coastal Commission and the Sierra Club advanced their objective of closing the beach. We are fully committed to continue this fight until we secure the safety of the park. To date, FoOD has a 95% success rate in court, we do not like to lose!
