The NanoTest system from MML offers a range of methods of materials characterisation, including nanoindentation, nano-impact and nano-scratch and wear measurements. At ICMCTF 2023, we will be introducing our new "random impact" and

"random scratch" modules, and presenting data from testing to 1200 degrees C.

Also of interest, our Dynamimc Mechanical Compliance Testing (DMCT) module, which offers an improved approach using an additional -0-500 mN dynamic loading head with software and hardware features enabling a greater control of oscillation parameters, producing more reliable data.

In recent years, MML has pioneered nanomechanical testing in real-world conditions. The NanoTest offers unique testing modules, among them the high temperature testing module, which allows testing of a sample heated up to temperatures over 1000°C.  The new NanoTest Xtreme model provides a vacuum environment testing from -100 to 1000°C without oxidation or frosting of samples.

The patented MML nano-impact and fatigue system affords unrivalled information on fracture and fatigue behaviour. MML have a wide global customer base, and enjoy close collaborations with their users.
