National Code of Ethics Day – LIVE BROADCAST

CDAR will be holding a broadcast viewing party of world-renowned speaker Leigh Brown on National Ethics Day as she instructs this required class in a fun and non-traditional way. This class will cover the Code of Ethics requirement that REALTORS® must complete every 3 years (the current cycle ends Dec. 2024).

This is a live broadcast of the Code of Ethics day event, and Leigh Brown will not be in person at CDAR. It is free to attend and will be held at the CDAR Corporate Office (44475 Monterey Ave, Palm Desert, CA). Please register for this event below.

REALTOR® Night at the Ballpark

Join us for a night of home runs and hot dogs with REALTOR® Night at the Ballpark on Wednesday, June 5th at 7 PM. It’s a family-friendly affair, and you’re invited to watch the Palm Springs Power take on the Santa Clarita Victory at the Power’s home park, Palm Springs Stadium (1901 E. Baristo Road, Palm Springs, CA).

Purchase, Listing, & Buyer Rep. Agreement Changes Webinar

Changes abound as we adjust our practices to comply with the NAR settlement agreement! Join us on Friday, May 17th at 10:00 AM for a Purchase, Listing, & Buyer Rep Agreement Changes Webinar. Our existing listing and buyer representation agreements are undergoing a complete makeover! The revised versions and additional complimentary documents will be released in June.

This class is instructed by Nikki Coppa, Vice-Chair of the C.A.R. Standards Forms Advisory Committee and C.A.R. Certified Forms Trainer.

  • Dive into the new grid format in our Residential Listing Agreement, and the new Open House Buyer Representation forms.
  •  Soon, a buyer’s agent will need to have a signed Buyer Representation Agreement prior to showing a property. Learn the form now so you will be ready when the rules change. We will also review the revised SPBB & CBC so you will know how to document Buyer Broker compensation.
  •  Review the temporary listing and buyer representation modification forms so older agreements can be modified to reflect the newer practices in the field.
