For over 20 years, the American Sand Association (ASA) has been the leading non-profit organization fighting to keep the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area (ISDRA) open to dune enthusiasts. Countless volunteers, researchers, executive staff, and enthusiasts have helped the ASA become one of the premier organizations fighting to keep our public lands open for recreation. The ASA is an advocate on behalf of recreationalists and a viable source of information to ISDRA users.
The continuing fight to keep the dunes open remains our primary issue at hand. The ASA has a dedicated & knowledgeable team of staff members paired with our experienced Board of Directors. Together, we'll continue to fight for your right to recreate on public lands!
