Friends Of Oceano Dunes, a California 501c3 Non-Profit
Friends of Oceano Dunes (FoOD) has been leading the fight to keep the Oceano Dunes State Vehicle Recreational Area (ODSVRA), aka Pismo, from being closed. FoOD has been waging this war against those who want to take away our rights to public lands for over 20 years and we will continue to fight for as long as it takes.
But we can't do it without you, we need your support on all fronts: public awareness by staying up to date on what is happening, speaking out at public meetings where elected and non-elected officials can vote on matters that have a direct impact on the park, political awareness by supporting those candidates that support us and lastly and most importantly, financial contributions to keep the fight going. As of this publication, FoOD currently has 16 active lawsuites and all of them demand a large amount of money to keep them going.
FoOD is a 100% volunteer organization, no salaries are paid to any board member. $98 out of every $100 donated goes to pay our legal fees. Your donations have a direct impact on how hard we can fight this fight!
