Ron Ih is the director of business development for Kyrio’s security solutions business unit. He is responsible for defining solutions that address the evolving security needs for the Internet of Things.
With more than 25 years of in-depth high technology experience, Ron’s expertise spans across cyber-security, semiconductors, display systems and networked computer systems. Prior to joining Kyrio, Ron managed Atmel’s cryptographic co-processor chip products. He is a former co-chairman of the Security Working Group at the Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF) and is currently Chairman of the Security Review Task Group at OCF. Ron was a key driver of TMDS serial link technology into LCD monitor applications which has achieved near-universal adoption in digital displays in the form of HDMI, DVI and DisplayPort.
Ron is an inventor on several filed and pending patents including electromagnetic emissions reduction, capacitive touch sensors and styluses and secure delivery of cryptographic credentials. He holds a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Delaware and a Master of Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
