The ICRC, in partnership with the Embassy of Switzerland in Washington, will bring an immersive and interactive exhibition under the Digital Dilemmas brand to the SCSP AI Expo. Visitors are invited to put themselves in the shoes of people facing ‘digital dilemmas’ in a conflict scenario and reflect on whether to share personal data to access aid, or make decisions based on conflicting information they receive. Its objective is to immerse visitors in a crisis to see how digital technologies, from social networks to biometrics and connectivity, can have real-life consequences.
