Come learn about the McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT, including competitive postdoctoral fellowship opportunities for underrepresented minorities.

The McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT supports a community of world-class neuroscientists and engineers to understand the brain across many levels.  Our cross-disciplinary and collaborative faculty create and apply cutting-edge techniques to better understand the basis of the mind, with a preclinical eye towards developing new treatments for autism, schizophrenia, drug addiction, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders.

Our goal is to bring together people of all backgrounds to study the brain because we believe a diverse and inclusive community is critical to revolutionary discoveries in science. We offer competitive stipends to PhD graduates who belong to groups underrepresented in STEM, and who wish to pursue neuroscience careers in computational biology, cognitive science, psychology, molecular and cellular biology, physiology, biological engineering, bionics or a related field.

Come join our exciting research program in the vibrant city of Cambridge MA, a global center for biological research and engineering!
