The Wu Tsai Institute is a new university-wide endeavor at Yale to advance innovative, comprehensive discoveries in our understanding of human cognition. The Institute integrates neuroscience, biology, psychology, computer science, engineering, and beyond to spark new paradigms in interdisciplinary research. Our three interdependent centers: neurodevelopment and plasticity, neurocognition and behavior, and neurocomputation and machine learning, are supported by cutting-edge technologies and represent complementary perspectives on cognition. Vital to our mission is welcoming diverse minds and scientists of all backgrounds and creating equitable opportunities to expand the possibilities of our inclusive research community. In one collective space, the Wu Tsai Institute is building a nexus of collaborative research, cooperative education, and unprecedented access to resources to accelerate breakthroughs in neuroscience.
