Center for GWAS in outbred rats: distribution of outbred HS rats, genotyping services, rats with genetically predicted phenotypes, data repositories for machine learning, and biobanks

The purpose of this booth is to highlight the resources offered by our Center to the broader research community. The Center serves as the foundation for more than 15 studies that use HS rats, collectively funded to test more than 16,000 rats, and provide access to the following resources:
HS rats: distribution of genetically diverse outbred HS rats throughout the US and EU.
Rats with genetically predicted phenotypes:
distributing HS rats with genetically predicted phenotypes. We intend to distribute rats that are predicted to be extremely high or low for specific traits.
Genotyping Services:  inexpensive, high throughput genotyping of HS rats.
Data Repository for machine learning (ML) applications (CGORD.org): Phenotype and genotype data for > 10,000 HS rats has been accumulated and organized in a relational database, which includes extensive addiction-related behavioral and physiological data, DNA sequencing; subsets of rats have RNASeq, gut microbiome and metabolomics, single cell RNASeq, and ATACSeq data.
Tissue repositories: The center can provide tissues from HS rats following various treatments.

Brands: Ratgenes.org. The Center performs genetic studies on behavioral traits that are relevant to drug abuse, using outbred heterogeneous stock (HS) rats.
