Wearable Sensing is an actively growing San Diego-based company founded in 2013 and focused on the development of high-end wearable sensing technology and its potential applications. Our first products are wearable wireless dry electrode systems. These state-of-the-art dry electrophysiological sensors enable the recording of high-fidelity electroencephalography (EEG) signals from the scalp with comparable signal quality to that obtained with conventional medical-grade electrodes, but without the latter’s technical hassles and sensitivity to artifacts. Wearable Sensing has embedded these research-grade sensors into headsets that are practical to use outside the laboratory, in real-world and virtual-world environments.
