Founded in 1969, SAF has gradually developed into a fishery and seafood processing company. Today, it is the main fish and seafood buyer from local artisanal anglers and Venezuelan boats under European licenses.
In French Guiana, more than 4 000 tons of fish and seafood are caught every year. Half of these products, destined for processing, is exported in the Caribbean’s and in the United States due to their qualities and flavors. Indeed, our fishing known to be wild catch is ecofriendly using artisanal angling method.
SAF is at the head of the two largest processing and packaging plants of fish and seafood products in French Guiana. It is also the largest exporter of these products.
Our product come exclusively from artisanal fisheries. In order to offer the best, we have established a strict quality specification to collect the best fish on the market.
