AT&T Mobile Launch
Acivilate is pleased to offer mobile devices and services in partnership with AT&T. Using VMWare Workspace ONE, we are able to provide, configure, and manage mobile devices (e.g. smartphones and tablets) with controlled access to websites. Those might be Acivilate’s own mypokket.com and other sites useful to end users such as employment, drug-testing, housing resources, telemedicine, and more. In this way, agency partners can ensure that end users receiving treatment or counseling virtually, or engaging in virtual supervision, never run out of data. They should always be able to keep an appointment or communicate why they are unable to do so. Selected plans can include the option to receive unlimited Pokket text reminders for appointments or tasks due, as well as unlimited voice services, including to Mexico and Canada, which can be an incentive for program participation and completion. Participants can also access voicemail and email services to be able to manage their affairs.
Mobile devices may be provided to support participants going through a range of life transitions such as parolees, probationers, domestic violence survivors, veterans, youth aging out of foster care, foster parents, or others engaged with intensive services. The locked-down nature of the device prevents access to unsuitable addresses such as pornographic sites. Acivilate is able to configure tiers of permissions, so that participants may be rewarded or provided with more freedom of access based on compliance or need, making it possible to design different configurations for different treatment stages or applications. The device location service may also assist in the location of individuals who have experienced a medical difficulty such as an epileptic or diabetic episode or unintentionally overdosed on tainted drugs. A participant can also voluntarily share their location, for example to verify attendance at prescribed treatment or as a client-verified form of electronic visit verification.
Devices can also be configured to operate in shared-user applications and settings such as community centers, supportive housing, halfway houses, clinics, classrooms, courts, or reception areas. Devices can be supplied with accessories, including cases, screen protectors, headphones, and other items. These devices are intended for use in community-based settings, for a lower cost profile than correctional devices. Normally, devices may only be issued to staff, but our arrangement includes clients of agencies under defined conditions.
With the extensive reach of AT&T’s mobile network, you can be sure we can serve all your domestic telecom needs, even for wireline and satellite services. Each application is unique. Please contact us at sales@acivilate.com to share your needs so that together we can work out if we can be a good partner, serving those needs.
