Ashland University Correctional Education Program
Ashland University offers the longest, continually operating correctional education program in the nation - serving over 5,000 students with post-secondary education in minimum-to-maximum security environments in thirteen states plus the District of Columbia. AU currently employs over 55 staff members at our main campus in Ohio and over 120 additional employees in correctional facilities around the country. AU has created an infrastructure and system of collaboration with many AU departments to deliver an effective and efficient program to students both inside and outside of correctional facilities.
