Leading Global Collaboration in Myositis Research and Care Established in 2019, the International Myositis Society (iMyoS) is a non-profit organization committed to advancing the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of myositis worldwide. Serving as a central hub, iMyoS unites clinicians, researchers, and patient advocates to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. Our Core Objectives ■ Standardizing Care Develop and harmonize diagnostic criteria and standards of care for myositis, collaborating with international and national societies such as AAN, EULAR, ACR, and EAN. ■ Educational Advancement Promote education and interdisciplinary training programs for myositis specialists. ■ Research Promotion Facilitate funding and support for clinical, translational, and basic research on myositis. ■ Global Conferences Organize the biennial Global Conference on Myositis (GCOM) to disseminate cutting-edge research and clinical practices. A Global Leader in Myositis iMyoS stands at the forefront of myositis research and care, distinguished by its: ■ Interdisciplinary Approach Bridging neurology, rheumatology, dermatology, and other specialties to provide comprehensive care. ■ Collaborative Network Partnering with organizations like IMACS, MYONET, The Myositis Association (TMA), and ERN EURONMD to unify efforts in research and patient care. ■ Educational Resources Publishing annual issues in the “Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology” journal, featuring consensus papers, guidelines, and research findings.
