AeroGlow LLC manufactures and markets the Hatch Lighting and Orientation System (HaLO) Emergency Egress Lighting System (EELS). 6,000+ systems are in service since its introduction 15 years ago, mostly in the UK and US where it is considered to be an essential safety system, mitigating egress and drowning risks.
HaLO is fitted to All SOCOM MRAPs and JLTV as well as the USMC ACV. In the UK, Boxer and AJAX are fitted with the system and it is a requirement for both the BVs10 All Terrain Vehicle (F-ATV). HaLO EELS meets the requirement for the new US Army XM30 MIV.
HaLO is blast, roll-over and water triggered and is powered by a capacitor pack, it can also be integrated to a Fire Extinguisher System. The system is a fully qualified TRL9 EELS, meeting all current UK MOD and US DOD requirements.
