150 years in the service of the Armed Forces
“HELLENIC DEFENCE SYSTEMS S.A.” with trade name EAS, is a Greek State owned company which for 150 years has been engaged in the design, development, manufacturing and trading of NATO type defence materials.
By developing, manufacturing, maintaining, upgrading and modernizing infantry weapons, weapon and missile systems and ammunition EAS has achieved to be:
- Exclusive supplier of the Hellenic Armed and Security Forces on weapons and ammunition produced in Greece
- Qualified manufacturer & supplier on defence material by a numerous MoDs worldwide and also dynamic partner some of the leading Int'l companies in co-production
- Major supporter of the Hellenic MoD in upgrading & modernization of the country’s arsenal
- Member of the Consortium which has developed and manufactures the IRIS-T air to air and ground to air missiles
- Certified by NATO as one of the five existing worldwide, Missile Assembly Disassembly Facility (MADF)
To assure the full conformance with requirements and specifications, EAS has built up and maintains a comprehensive and disciplined Quality System, complied with NATO standards AQAP-110 as well as International standard ISO 9001:2015.
