Our patented all metal flexible wheels, with variable stiffness, outperform rubber tires in traction on sand and mud, achieving results that can be only matched by caterpillars. On the same time, our tires conserve the unique efficiency of wheels, even on loose terrain or mud, contributing to the high autonomy of the vehicle. Using our technology, modern warfare UGVs can achieve unique mileage with exceptionally low Cost of Transport. HTR is building light UGVs of the 100 kg class that can become completely autonomous using solar panels for patrolling and surveillance applications. Although the daily rate of operation of these machines depend on location and season parameters, they represent a breakthrough for energetics autonomy of mobile platforms and can serve in a great number of operational scenaria. The absence of need of personnel for refueling and servicing constitutes the greatest advantage of these platforms, protecting Army members from exposure in a great number of cases. The units can be applied for both denial of access and deep penetration behind enemy lines.
