The American Battle Monuments Foundation (ABMF) is an independent 501(c)(3) organization and the non-profit partner of the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC).
The mission of the ABMF is to ensure that people - especially young people, know that the more than 218,000 Americans who fought, died, and are buried or memorialized at ABMC military cemeteries and memorials around the world, did so to defend the values of personal liberty and democratic governance, a spirit that undergirds American leadership of the Free World.
Their sacrifice is not a legacy of the past but an enduring reminder of the price of freedom and the commitment of the U.S. and its allies to ensure lasting stability and peace.
ABMF does not receive government funding; all support for our strategic priorities comes from individuals, companies and foundations.
