The Pershing Rifles was founded on October 2, 1894 by a dedicated, and well trained group of cadets at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
Serving the Nation since 1894, by developing leaders at the Undergraduate level, the National Society of Pershing Rifles, is the nation’s premier, and oldest Military oriented, Fraternal Honor Society. The Brothers and Sisters who have had the honor to wear the Pershing Rifles cord have distinguished themselves as Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, and Civilians leading successful careers in the public and private sectors.
Members of our Graduate Division (the National Society of Pershing Rifles Alumni Association) continue to "Foster a Spirit of Brotherhood" as we continue to serve our country as a Non-profit charitable organization, beside our Sister Organization the Pershing Angels, and through our Youth Outreach, the BlackJacks, as a part of the Pershing Rifles Group!
