For over 40 years, the research tools arm of Cancer Research UK (CRUK), has been managing, maintaining and distributing research tools including antibodies, cell lines, experimental models, small molecules etc. and making them available to the global research community
Nearly 175 institutes worldwide have partnered and contributed over 8000 research tools to the portfolio.
By contributing their research tools, the institutes have:
- ensured the tools developed at their universities reach researchers globally,
- taken advantage of the scale and efficiency required in research tools management and production at a global scale
- generated another revenue stream and simultaneously contributed in paying over £36 million to support cancer research via CRUK.
