Workflows of the Future: How to be Ready for What's Next in Network Operations
Thursday, October 15, 2020: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM EDT
NetOps is evolving radically, in lockstep with digital transformations and the increase in infrastructure complexity that accompanies them. This three-part workshop, featuring technologists with NetScout Systems, Resolve Systems and VMWare, addresses what it takes to develop “workflows of the future,” proactively assess Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and apply metadata toward proactive service assurance, network automation, and SLA management. Marcus Rebelo opens the session with a NetOps deep dive, including how to maximize Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the pursuit of the “dark NOC.” Next, Robert McIntyre details the application of predictive RCA for service delivery in a complex cloud environments -- like the complex stitching of access networks, cloud infrastructure, and IP/MPLS backbones. Vikram Saksena closes the workshop with a look at how the two-punch of packet-derived metadata and analytics can enable operators to create, change, and personalize services on demand – which can substantially reduce service delivery intervals – including an operator use case for service management of WiFi networks.
