    Description

Technologists with Comcast detail their work on software-defined radios, in the lab and in the field. Andy Martushev covers the transformation of the tried-and-true signal level meter into an agile, software-oriented test platform, to better inform repair and maintenance techs with actionable recommendations. Bob Lund details the latest in Software Defined Radios (SDRs) for profile management and RF test automation. Gary Ventriglia concludes the workshop with a new Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence model, developed to reliably trains machines for cloud-based signal level measurement -- at the tap and ground block.
