Dr. Yasser Syed is a Comcast Distinguished Architect whose work focuses on developing next generation video technologies. Dr. Syed has contributed a substantial amount of content to many video standards-related areas. Currently, he chairs the SCTE WG7 on DASH/Adaptive Streaming, and leads the Advanced Coding Technologies group and the newly formed FAST Focus group.
