Guy McCormick is Senior Vice President of network engineering for Cox Communications. In this role, he leads the operational transformation and technology strategy for the enterprise network engineering organization. His duties include strategic oversight for infrastructure and enabling platforms including Backbone/Metro Networks, Edge, and Wireline/Wireless Access Technologies. Over the course of his dynamic, 27-year career with Cox, Guy has assumed key leadership roles, including portfolio and resource management, technology transformation, field operations, HFC, wireline and wireless engineering. Guy also served as Vice President of technical operations and engineering for Cox Media, overseeing industry-leading advances in digital program insertion and advanced advertising technologies. Guy has been recognized many times for his contributions to the industry and was recently inducted into the Cable TV Pioneers Class of 2018. Guy received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from East Carolina University.
