Description
Even as cable operators are moving toward wider upstream spectrum for improved speed and bandwidth, the challenges will also increase. We’re upping the ante on upstream in this workshop, moderated by CableLabs’ Karthik Sunderesan, where we’ll discuss that activating new upstream spectrum can come with a number of unforeseen challenges. At the same time, PNM experience can provide an excellent foundation for detecting, characterizing and repairing many common obstacles for faster, smoother OFDMA deployments. CableLabs’ Thomas Williams will dial in on how PNM benefits the upstream, and Comcast’s Takashi Hayakawa unveils the latest results of mid-split and OFDMA from the field.
