Profile
Don Jones joined the cable industry over 21 years ago from IBM Global Services. His varied career has included working venue security, skip tracing and auto repossession. Working first for Adelphia, then Time Warner and finally Comcast, his specific Scientific Atlanta (Cisco) expertise in conditional access helped to drive cable television from all analog to all digital delivery, introduced Tru2Way and switched digital video. In 2014, he turned his professional focus back toward his fraud and cyber security passion. He currently holds his C.I.S.S.P. certification and is a part-time student, working on a degree in cybersecurity at CSU Denver. Currently holding a single patent, he has created dozens of software tools that enable threat actor detection, and attribution. His protective nature is fueled by his passion for learning and teaching. Don has published several security related white papers with SCTE and has provided numerous training sessions for government agencies and law enforcement around the world.
At home, he enjoys doing volunteer work, spending time with his wife and son and studying tactics, techniques and procedures of commodity and advanced persistent threat actors.

The 2022 Official Digital Show Daily, Presented by Pipeline
This year, Pipeline magazine is giving the 2022 Official Show Daily a boost with a fresh, new look and digital format. In addition to the branding and coverage opportunities available in previous years, the new 2022 Official Digital Show Daily format provides event participants with expanded event, editorial, news, and company coverage opportunities; new interactive content; a broader distribution to encompass Pipeline’s global audience of technology decision makers; and new lead generation and capture opportunities. For more information about spotlighting your company, its products, solutions, and event participation in the 2022 Digital Show Daily contact Pipeline, email sales@pipelinepub.com, call +1 734 707 4988 x120, or automatically schedule an event discussion with Pipeline to explore by clicking here.
2022 Virtual Press Office and Media Services
This year, Pipeline magazine will be upgrading the press office with an expanded and direct reach to technology decision makers from within the SCTE audience and Pipeline’s global audience. Legacy wire services distribute your news to mostly broadcast and newspaper media points where journalists have to be on specific topical assignments to cover your news, leading to a high degree of fall out. This year, your complete news will be directly distributed to the attendees of the event; to key technology decision makers from within Pipeline’s global audience; top stories will be featured in the Digital Show Daily, and all news will be featured on Pipeline magazine’s homepage in its news ticker, news center, and include a dedicated, full press release page. Pipeline is also a certified Google News source to amplify the visibility of your news across the web. For more information about the Virtual Press Office, Online Press Kits, and other event media services contact Pipeline, email sales@pipelinepub.com, call +1 734 707 4988 x120, or automatically schedule an event discussion with Pipeline to explore opportunities by clicking here.
