LiFePO4 green powering solutions are available in the form of broadband standby batteries, 72-hour powering, and “powered by NUE” portable AC battery generators and power trailers. Lindsay’s HFC strand-mounted connectivity solutions are 802.3 af/at/bt compliant and provide HFC/line power with DOCSIS^® or optical backhaul. Lindsay Broadband offers the first strand-mounted Wi-Fi^® platform capable of incorporating both TIP OpenWiFi and WBA OpenRoaming. By using Lindsay’s DOCSIS, strand-mounted, hardened access points for Wi-Fi (SMHAP series), the cable strand is now OpenWiFi capable and the HFC plant is now OpenRoaming ready. Operators can participate not only in hotspot services, but are now also able to support mobile operator seamless roaming and data offloading.
