Broadband adoption and Digital Equity are key components of BEAD and IIJA funding because broadband deployment is not enough – even where broadband is available, many households choose not to adopt.  We’ll hear from state broadband officers on their Digital Equity Act proposals and strategies to tackle adoption challenges.  Broadband providers will weigh in on their partnerships with Digital Navigators – community-based organizations and individuals that are leading the way in assisting families in overcoming various obstacles to broadband adoption, including digital literacy, online safety, and relevance.
