FENS - Federation of European Neuroscience Societies
FENS aims to advance and promote excellence in neuroscience research by facilitating inclusive exchange and networking between scientists, and by engaging with policy-makers, funders and the general public to increase support for the brain sciences.
The Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) is the voice of European neuroscience. FENS represents more than 21,000 neuroscientists and 44 member societies across 33 European countries. FENS aims to advance research, education and training in Europe and beyond through collaborative exchange, networking and career development, with a particular focus on early career scientists. The FENS Forum of neuroscience is the largest international meeting for brain-related research in Europe, its next edition will take place on 25-29 June 2024 in Vienna, Austria. Taking place in odd years, the FENS Regional Meetings (FRM) are organised by FENS member societies with the support of FENS. The next FRM edition will take place on 3-5 May 2023 in Algarve, Portugal.
