Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation
Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation (SSS) is a Japanese company that leads the world in the research and development of CMOS image sensors. SSS applied the CMOS technology in a high-density microelectrode array device with 236,880 electrodes to achieve “Field Potential Imaging (FPI)” of neural activity at the single-cell level. Next-generation compound assays that approach the mechanisms of single neuron response and neural networks are expected to be used for the new drugs development and the safety evaluation of chemical substances. At the exhibition booth, SSS will show the HD-CMOS-MEA system prototype. (not for sale now)
