Organic REV is not an ordinary humic acid product that is chemically-extracted from leonardite, lignite, or other coals. Rather, it is a 100% naturally-occurring carbon, humic acid & fulvic acid source - along with exceptionally high levels of naturally-occurring microbes that can increase nitrogen efficiency and nutrient uptake by up to 25%.
REV replaces depleted soil carbon & bacterial biomass - and absorbs nutrients to make them more readily available to plants via their root systems. The compound is formulated from geologically-unique peat deposits in North Dakota & Northern Minnesota at what was the bottom of glacial Lake Agassiz ten thousand years ago. Over the past twenty years, REV and their university research partners have tested peat samples from all over the world - and none have even come close to the levels and quality of beneficial bacteria & soil organic matter that this unique reed sedge peat possesses. REV consists of micronized particles of this superior peat suspended in water - and as such it can be safely applied with any agricultural sprayers or irrigation equipment without clogging. Breaking the particles down to 5 microns allows plants to actually absorb the pure organic matter - I know of no other product that can do this.
Application can be done at planting, at foliar stage, or both. Moreover, in addition to doing no damage whatsoever to the soil or water tables - the compound actually increases soil organic matter going forward. While this is of course a significant benefit even in the U.S. where soil quality and fertility are already very high - the compound could be a game-changing application in areas of the world where soil organic matter is highly depleted. Evidence of this has already been seen in the U.S. in areas where there are high alkaline or salinity levels in the soil and crops struggle to grow - if at all - but respond dramatically to the application of the REV compound.
Of even greater potential significance within areas of the world where over-fertilization has been a problem; is that utilizing REV has been shown in studies conducted by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to allow growers to significantly reduce the use of chemical fertilizer while still increasing yield. Similar studies in India and Vietnam have reaffirmed these results. The compound is highly-concentrated for easy storage and use, and highly-affordable as well - particularly given that its usage can result in the reduction of fertilizer applied. As a general rule - the lower the quality of soil, levels of precipitation, or higher the stress on the plant or turf - the higher the return when using REV.
