One of the most impactful aspects of our business is the relief we provide to landfills. Before clearing and grinding contractors like Austin Wood Recycling & Thelin Recycling existed, massive amounts of green waste were hauled off and dumped into local landfills. Not only did this take up space, but as the green waste deteriorated, it produced and emitted large quantities of harmful methane gas.
Instead of diminishing local landfill capacities, and contributing to further greenhouse gas emissions, our business is able to give green waste a second life by turning cleared bushes, trees, and stumps into mulch.
