Philosophy & Winemaking Approach
At Dominio de la Vega, wine is a faithful expression of the vineyard. The estate is committed to low-intervention viticulture and respect for the environment, working primarily with old vines grown in calcareous, well-drained soils at over 750 meters above sea level. These conditions, along with a continental-Mediterranean climate, allow for the production of elegant wines with freshness, structure, and personality.
The winery uses traditional methods combined with modern techniques to preserve the authentic character of the fruit. Its sparkling wines are crafted following the Méthode Traditionnelle, with extended lees aging that rivals Champagne houses in finesse and complexity.
