Peach The Great America is an EU co-funded program promoting high-quality European processed peaches in the USA, Mexico, and Canada. The campaign aims to enhance the competitiveness and increase the exports of European processed peaches, while raising awareness and encouraging the consumption of EU products in these key markets. It also seeks to expand market share by showcasing the premium quality of European peaches, emphasizing their unique characteristics, superior taste, and the high standards of food safety and production that define EU agricultural excellence.
DELCOF S.A. (Greece) is the beneficiary organization of the 3-year program “Peach The Great America”. DELCOF S.A. is the cluster of the fruit processing industry of Greece. Its shareholders include the Greek Canners’ Association (representing 16 fruit processing companies), as well as, a number of cooperatives and privately held companies active in the fruit processing industry in Greece. The organization was established in 1999, as an innovative quality laboratory, providing the sector with state-of-the-art guidance in every part of the production flow, from the farm to the final products.
